We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Study Start-Up Associate (SSA) to support our clinical research team in our Auckland office. In this role you will be responsible for supporting operational activities related to the set-up and implementation of clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role requires exceptional time management and communication skills, as you will be responsible for liaising with all Study Start-Up team members during the establishment phase of each study. Consistency, quality and version control will be second nature to you and all supporting documentation will be reviewed with your critical eye for detail.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating source documentation and ensuring all documentation is filed correctly
  • Supporting Ethics Applications for Clinical studies 
  • Effectively communicate with all Study Start-Up team members during the establishment phase of a study
  • Ensure all study establishment tasks are completed in a timely manner


Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative-based role 
  • Experience in the clinical study industry would be beneficial but not essential 
  • A Bachelors Degree in health sciences or a related field (highly desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • The ability to work independently and as a member of a team
