What Is the Study?

This clinical research study is testing an investigational medication in adults to learn how it works to lower cholesterol compared with a placebo. This clinical research study is testing adults who have an inherited genetic disorder that causes high cholesterol called heterozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia (HeFH).  The placebo looks like the investigational medication but contains no active ingredients. Researchers will also study how well participants tolerate taking the investigational medication.
