Culloden Research have been operating within the field of clinical research trials since 2011 in Papamoa, in the Bay of Plenty.

We are a husband and wife team who own and operate the clinical trials company from our main business at Papamoa Pines Medical Centres based in Papamoa, in the Bay of Plenty.

Davitt Sheahan, the Principal Investigator is a GP Principal and Senior Partner at Papamoa Pines Medical Centre and Pamela Sheahan the Study coordinator is a qualified nurse and Partner in Papamoa Pines Medical Group, having trained originally in the UK. We have a sub Investigator Dr Natasha Roberton who is also a GP and partner in Papamoa Pines Medical centre and works closely alongside us.

With a growing patient base of 11000 patients, we have excellent direct access to a comprehensive database of our own patient population which allows us to draw from personal experience in identifying suitable candidates for our research studies. As a result, we are proud to have not lost any patients from studies conducted to date and have been able to demonstrate zero lost to follow up information.

We have a wide demographic population and enjoy the challenges that running effective Clinical trials involve.

In 2018 Culloden Research joined the Lakeland Clinical Trials Group.
